Oil has been riding the bounciest roller coaster since May 2015. Now, I don't know if this roller coaster is going to continue, but I believe we haven't seen the end of it --
just yet. However, I do not believe that we'll be seeing $25/barrel anytime in the near future. Recently, it's been hovering around $35-$40/barrel.
I will say -- I do miss $1.25/gal at the gas station. But oil stabilizing is also a great sign for the global economy.
If you guys haven't heard, since January (of this year) the U.S. now has enough oil where it can start exporting it. So, when oil starts rising, America might enter a period where its exports are more than its imports!
Did you imagine that would ever happen? Since the 1970s, America has been importing more than it's been exporting.
I would like to see the U.S. export more than it import before I die -- and I believe it will happen when the the price of oil hits $100/barrel again.
